蒼色迷宮

    Build me a son,O Lord,who will be strong enough to know when he is weak;and brave enough to facehimself when he is afraid;one who will be proud and unbending in honest defase,and humble and gentle in victory.
    Build me a son whose wishes will not take the place of deeds;a son who will know Thee......and that to know himself is the foundation stons of knowledge.
    Lead him,Ipray,not in the path of ease and comfort,but under the stress and spur of difficulties and challenge.Here let him learn to stand up in the storm;here lethim learn compassion for those that fail.
    Build me a son whose heart will be clear,whose  goal will be high,a son who will master himself before he seeks to master other men;one who will reach into the future,yet never forget the past.
    And after all these things are his,add,I pray,enough of a sense of humor,so that he may always be seerious,yet never take himself too seriously.Give him humility,so that he may always remember the simplicity of true greatness,the open  mind of true wisdom and the meekness of true strength.
    Then,I,his father,will dare to whisper,"I have no lived in vain."

    主啊!懇求祢塑造我兒,使他能夠認識自己的軟弱,能夠勇敢面對恐懼;在誠實的失敗中,自豪不屈;在勝利中,仍能保持謙遜溫和。
    懇求祢塑造我兒,不要空想而缺乏行動;帶領他認識祢,並明白自己是知識的基石。
    我祈禱,不要讓他走在安逸舒適的坦途,而讓他經歷壓力、艱難與挑戰。藉此認他學習在暴風中獨立,學習體恤失敗之人。
    懇求祢塑造我兒,使他心地純潔,目標崇高,在指揮別人前,先能駕馭自己;善加籌畫未來,但永不遺忘過去。
    當他擁有以上的一切,我還要禱告,賜他充分的幽默感,使他能認真嚴肅,卻不會太苛求自己。賜他謙卑,讓他永遠牢記,真正的偉大在於平凡!真正的力量在於溫和柔順!
    如此,身為父親的我,才敢低聲說:「我沒有虛度此生!」
